Join us for an evening of collective sharing in meal and melody with PTP as we honor rituals of the NYC heatwave. Each summer, songs, sounds, and stories circulate through the city to compose a soundtrack to the proverbial “outside” and being together. As certain city residents escape to temporary homes – in many cases, timeshares – in far off distances, others stay put and literally share time with each other by activating, remixing, and reviving public spaces. Musicians Yaz Lancaster and YATTA will perform covers of summer anthems, chef Lindsee “The Lieutenant” will prepare a warm-weather snack menu, and GENG PTP with Dena Igusti will share thoughts on a “summer in the city.”
