Office Hours with Art.coop: Money Moving Coalitions

05.14.2024
11:00 am–4:00 pm

The first of Art.coop’s themed Office Hours on Money & Solidarity: Swing by to talk about, learn from, and work with organizers and friends of the Cultural Solidarity Fund, a coalition of 20+ organizations who raised and redistributed over $1,000,000 in emergency relief grants.

Drop-in for one-on-one conversations with members of Art.coop, who can answer your questions around incorporating cooperative models into your practice, give an introduction to the solidarity economy, and share resources. Office Hours are every Tuesday from 11 am – 4 pm, during CTHQ’s Open Hours. Please email team@art.coop with the date and time you want to visit.

Drop in later this month to talk about our relationships with money & solidarity through:

May 21: Community Centric Fundraising, with Erika Pettersen

May 28: Grantwriting 101, with Stanley Delva

The Cultural Solidarity Fund (CSF) is an initiative administered by IndieSpace (formerly Indie Theater Fund) with leadership by LEIMAY and a coalition of arts administrators and institutions that provides relief microgrants of $500 to artists and cultural workers including individual artists, administrators, production staff, custodians, art educators, ushers, guards, and more and prioritizes Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC), immigrant, disabled, d/Deaf, and trans and gender-nonconforming individuals who have been most severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
