Tending Sanctuary: Plants to the People with Herban Cura

The plants we live alongside carry memory and medicine. Herban Cura is a healing justice herb and ecology school that creates learning opportunities to restore relationships to land, memory, and cultural lifeways. Join us to celebrate Plants to the People: Political Education Through Plants, a new book by Herban Cura.

Plants to the People (P2P) is a mutual aid project that occurs in public spaces in the Hudson Valley and New York City where participants enjoy free herbs and acupuncture. The book includes photographs and stories from the community that attends these gatherings.


Free and open to the public at CTHQ.

 

Entry
CTHQ is located on the 7th Floor of 59 East 4th Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenue in Manhattan. The building entrance has no steps and elevator access is provided directly to CTHQ.
Service animals are welcome.

Restrooms
One ADA accessible, all-gender restroom is located inside CTHQ.
