Canal Street Research Association is a fictional office entity dedicated to studying the ebbs and flows of Canal Street, New York’s counterfeit epicenter. Join us in celebrating underground ecologies of the city, and another year of research into informal markets and subterranean channels.

Call for donations

In collaboration with artist Guadalupe Maravilla, CTHQ will be collecting donations of winter coats for new immigrants and asylum seekers. Coats will be collected at CTHQ during this event, please bring your coats in good condition! All donations will be distributed by the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.

Additional drop off hours at CTHQ, through December 19: Tuesdays and Thursdays 11am-4pm.
