Program Organizer

Jazsalyn is an artist and technologist working where fiction and reality collide. Through alternative and computer-based media, she extends the practice of re-indigenization as a ritual to recall ancestral intelligence. As the creative director of experimental design lab B-eyond, she directs Black Beyond. Through Black Beyond she has designed and curated immersive experiences at The Kitchen, NEW INC at the New Museum, OXN Studio of the Onassis Foundation, and more. She also hosts an experimental series titled Alternate Realities on dublab radio and teaches a course rooted in the history of African and Diaspora rituals as technology and speculative design practice in the design and technology program at Parsons School of Design.
