A collaboration between Konantü (Courtney Smith) and Riley Hooker in the form of a collective poetic exercise featuring 8 performers reading material sourced from their dreams. The reading will be accompanied by live theremin improvisation by Silas.
Performers include Konantü (Courtney Smith) and Riley Hooker featuring: Juliana Huxtable, Daiyah Williams, Annie Ling, Ugochi Egonu, Rocco Cuccurullo, Veronica Vega, Jeppe Ugelvig and Patty Lin.
The performance will take place in and around Hooker’s modular inflatable furniture/sculptures titled SIT(UATION).
Courtney Smith is an artist working in sculpture and performance.
Riley Hooker is an artist and graphic designer based in New York.
