Artists Gabo Camnitzer and Elian Chali led a gathering that explored silence as a form of public statement-making, and how this approach traverses multiple sensory experiences. This workshop invited direct participation through listening, movement, candy-eating, and informal message writing – but almost no verbal communication. Participants were guided by Gabo and Elian, in small and large groups, through a set of gestures and instructions in a friendly and responsive environment.
